The leading automakers over the Volkswagen group in India has increased the production of cars based on the MQB AO platforms including SUV’s in categories of subcompact to mid-size cars. The very first result which expected is Volkswagen T-Cross, accompanying T-Cross, its alike Skoda model-The Kamiq is to be launched. In Europe, T-Cross will offer a 1.0 litre three cylinder, a 1.5 litre four cylinder and a 1.6 litre diesel four. The process of fitting 150 horsepower 1.5 is still going on. The easy running variant with 1.0 litre three cylinder turbo is capable of producing power of 93 BHP. The 93 BHP variant is five-speed manual transmission which for 113 BHP variant is six-speed. If you want to add more features, the more pain will your pocket bear for addition of seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which is operated manually in different shift gate or with paddle on new model. The 113 BHP engine was found more efficient when tested on grounds of manual transmission yet a near perfect but soulless dual-clutch automatic transmission. Whereas the 1.5 litre four would be accessible only its dual clutch automatic model. The 1.6 litre four cylinder diesel with engine of 93 BHP is present with half-geared five speed manual transmission or dual clutch automatic can be made to the higher spec petrol variants. The diesel pickups are higher. These models have an ability to attain 20 KMPL mileage, whereas for the “safe drivers” it may be resulted to 25 KMPL. The exterior length of the T-Cross is kept 4110mm. The wheelbase of 2550mm and height of 1580mm are the further dimensions. The rear bench is movable to forward and backward direction. The extent to which it is movable is 140mm giving a sufficient legspace to rear seat riders. The boot volume lies b/w 385 and 455 litres. The headroom is also sufficient. The space enables the Volkswagen to have a thought of giving a sunroof as panoramic roof option to the customs. As the Indian weather appeals for the sunroof feature.

It will increase the standard of the current by existing segment of Indian markets. The main competitors of Europe of T-Cross are the models like SEAT Arona, the Pengeot 2008, the Opel Crossland and Ford Eco Sport. Thus the car makes you feel just right and perfect to the owned.

The T-Cross id efficient with its perfect workmanship, superb power trains are well balanced suspensions to lead inter European markets. In India as well, the model is expected to lead Ford mode, as also new Mahindra XUV 300, Tata NEXON and Maruti Suzuki Breeza as they are the winning models right now. Price range of T-Cross in Europe may reach to 17,975 Euros but the India base model will have an expense of Rs 9 lakh and top off at cost of 12 lakh, being lesser than the price of Creta. Thus, after T-Cross, the “Creta-category” is going to face a good competition by launch of Volkswagen T-ROC.
