Volkswagen is becoming a global brand, and what brand can be called as much successful if it does not rule the China and European markets. The Volkswagen is planning to design a fully electric sports utility vehicle i.e. SUV for the markets of china in the year 2021 which is expected to take over the leading car of the market i.e. Tesla’s model X. The car would have compatible features and in addition to that scores a bonus point as the new German automakers model will have zero-emissions production. The rapid growth of Volkswagen in China would be set on fire with this SUV’s authorities give preferential treatment to electric cars.

The chief of Volkswagen, Diess proudly announced that the company targets at producing more than 22 million electric cars in the coming decade as the pollution and other road criterion need a revolution in vehicle designing. The Volkswagen’s team of engineers are continuously working for the product listed to be launched in China. Adding to this, Diess said that Volkswagen ID ROOMZ could be ruled out from other markets not now but maybe soon! The ID ROOMZZ launched recently in shanghai was presented with three rows of seats and an operating range of approximately 450 kms which was another milestone for Volkswagen in giving the range of electric cars. As the Volkswagen claimed that the concept car is capable of a “level 4 autonomous driving”. Volkswagen brand’s head of e-mobility Thomas Ulbrich quoted that the car makers will start the production of nearly 33 electric car models by the 2023, using their revised and efficient platform of modular electric car (MEB) to build electric cars for not only Volkswagen automobiles, but also for Skoda, Audi and of course Volkswagen brands. Adding to this, Ulbrich said Volkswagen group is working at a large scale for production of electric cars. Initially 16 factories worldwide will be enabled for production of electric vehicles out of which 50% i.e. 8 plants will work solely on production of electric vehicles for Volkswagen brand cars.
